“But we said no”

But We Said No, “Voices from the German Underground” by Paul Bonart is a gripping first hand account of life in the early days of Nazi Germany.
The story picks up pace when Paul starts his internship with the Carl Zeiss company in Jena, Germany. It chronicles his involvement with the “ISK” an underground, international social organization that distributed anti-Nazi propaganda.
It was a quick read — about 190 pages, something you could easily polish in a weekend. What I found most interesting was the non-glamorized, non-Hollywood recollection of events from inside Nazi Germany, looking out.
