That was before Chrome. I understand that it was a massive undertaking, but honestly they are late to the market.  Chrome has already won me over and once there was a release for the Mac – frankly there was no going back. Chrome has been much more pleasant to use both more responsive and less resource intensive. Firefox has been a memory hog recently (some blame the flash). The ‘dev channel’ (Chrome 5) finally has the bookmark manager and bookmark sync.

The way things are going – Google has taken this round in the browser wars.
